Wellness and Pampering
In Morocco the hammam is an important part of tradition and culture. Wellness is a vital part of life, to feel good and healthy, to feel clean and toned and to have nourished skin and hair combine to give that radiant glow that signifies wellbeing. In Marrakech there is the opportunity to visit a spa or hammam and be completely pampered from head to toe. It is highly recommended and very beneficial for the overall health of a person. I personally recommend the hammam and massage as I have experienced the benefits myself. If you are here on a holiday and are visiting the desert, definitely you should go for a hammam in Marrakech on your return before flying home, it really is wonderful. There are many establishments around Marrakech selling wellness packages and people on the streets touting for business, some are OK and some not so good and this is something you do not want to take chances with. I have personal recommendations which are backed up by being the top spots in Trip Advisor for more than 2 years continuously. Check the reviews and see for yourself... they are all true!! There is a super menu to choose from and you can opt to have full on packages that includes a delicious lunch... which I genuinely think is a good deal and so romantic too for a couple. The products are of a good quality, black soap, henna, ghazoul clay, essential oils, creams and scrubs, roses from Kelaat M´gouna, Argan Oil form Agadir, and pure rose water. You can also purchase flight friendly bottles to take home with your favourite oil or lotion.
Prices: for a black soap scrub hammam €25 and €30, for a Massage: from €25, for a full package including lunch; choose from €60 and €90 options. There are many other treatments, manicures, pedicures, waxing, henna tattoos, facials and massages.
