The Small Print

The Small Print: Payments, booking terms, cancellation policies and info.
 
Payment terms and cancellation policies.

The amount of deposit we ask is to guarantee your booking with the balance payable on arrival in cash.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.

The remainder to be paid in cash on arrival in Morocco either to the driver or to Karima depending on your city of arrival. This amount can be paid before if you prefer.

Currencies accepted are Moroccan Dirhams and Euros.

Prices are given in Euros and the exchange rate of the day will apply.

 

  • At Lets Go 2 Morocco we prefer to pay a deposit to secure accommodation reservations for your peace of mind and also for the hotels, so they have a secure reservation.

  • We have a six week cancellation policy for accommodations. This allows the hotels time to rebook rooms in busy times. This means that if you are a group and book a number of rooms, later you have to cancel some of those rooms for whatever reason, you must let us know by email no less than 6 weeks in advance of arrival the exact number of rooms and people who are coming. Failure to notify us in time means you may be liable for the cost of all the rooms you reserved.

  • We also require a rooming list of all the people with passport numbers. We will supply a form for this.

  • If you are booking a day trip or trek, we require a non refundable deposit of 25% at the time of booking, the rest payable on arrival. Should you need to cancel, we require one weeks notice by email if possible, especially at peak season times of the year.  We have a strict 3 day cancellation policy for day trips in writing by email. If a deposit has not reached us by this time, the reservation will automatically default and be cancelled.

Payment methods

Payment request /invoice via PayPal. This incurs a 4.4% fee and is not included in the cost we give you. If possible, we suggest using the friends and family option when using PayPal to reduce or remove fees. if fees are deducted at our end, we may inform you and add them to the final payment. Normally if it is less than €10 , we absorb it.

Bank Transfer. Please make sure fees are payed at the time of the transfer.

(a fee will be applied to most methods of payment and is the responsibility of the client to pay, not us. Failure to pay the fees means we may have to add the cost to your final payment.)

 

  • Booking normally includes accommodation reservations, meals where stated, guides / companions where stated, vehicle hire, driver, fuel and transfers if applicable. For trekking tours, the price is usually all inclusive.

 

  • Please note: tips to drivers are at the discretion of the client. For trekking tours there are general guidelines for tips as outlined.

 

  • Entrance fees to monuments are not included unless stated otherwise in our program with you.

For groups and retreats, prices are generally all inclusive of fees.

Please read carefully what is and is not included in your program.

 

  • Most Hotels and Riads have to charge city tax to clients; these vary from city to city, but usually are €1.50 to 2.50 per person per night. In some cities like Casablanca they can be up to €4.00. These are included in the price.

Client Information

Should something arise that means you need to cancel or reschedule your trip, trek or tour with us please advise in writing by email at least 6 weeks in advance of the commencement date of your tour. However we cannot guarantee the same hotels will have vacancies at a later date and you may lose your deposit for reserved accommodations.

In the event that we need to alter your itinerary and /or accommodations due to weather conditions etc, we will advise by email.

We advise that at certain times of the year weather conditions can change quickly and may cause moderate to severe flooding which can lead to delays. We cannot be held responsible for any missed flights or problems with travel arrangements because of weather conditions. Please check online before travelling and make allowances accordingly.

 

Please be advised; there is a system available at the airports called Global Exchange. They offer you a credit card which they put money on. We do not recommend this service, the card is only for use in Morocco, it has a lot of clauses and restrictions that are ambiguous. You can only draw money from a card machine and many rural places do not have machines.

If you wish to change currency, we recommend using Hotel Ali in the main square in Marrakech Medina or you can change a little at the airports on arrival. Keep your receipt as you can then exchange dirhams back to your currency on departure.
